Compression Garments & Fajas

The Right Faja Is Half Your Recovery

Juanita's rule, after fourteen years of post-op care: the garment matters as much as the massage. We fit post-surgical Colombian compression — by your size, by your stage, and by the procedure you had — and show you exactly how to wear it. Fitted in-studio in Beverly Hills.

Why It Matters

Compression Does Half The Work

Even, consistent compression supports your drainage results and helps the skin redrape smoothly as swelling goes down. The wrong garment — too loose, too narrow, or the wrong stage — lets fluid pool and the skin set unevenly. Getting it right is the difference between a smooth result and a bumpy one.

What The Right Faja Does

  • Compresses the whole treated area evenly, not just the middle
  • Fits your current size — snug enough to compress, never so tight it rolls or folds
  • Works with foams and a lumbar board for flat, even results across curves
  • Adjusts as you go down sizes, with hooks or a front closure you can manage yourself

Common Mistakes We Fix

  • Wearing Spanx or everyday shapewear — too narrow, and it dents the skin
  • A faja that's too big (no real compression) or too small (it rolls and creases)
  • Staying in a stage-one garment after the incisions have healed
  • Leaving out the foams and boards, so compression lands unevenly
Stage By Stage

When To Wear What

A general map of how compression changes through recovery. Every body and every surgeon is different — we follow your surgeon's instructions and adjust on intake.

i.
Stage 1 — Right After Surgery
Your first garment, worn while the incisions heal. Gentle, even compression that holds the area steady without pressing on fresh sutures. Worn as your surgeon directs.
Day 0 – ~2 wks
ii.
Stage 2 — Once Incisions Heal
Around two weeks, once your surgeon clears you, we move you into firmer compression with less room for swelling — typically worn close to 23 hours a day.
~Wk 2 onward
iii.
Sizing Down & Holding
As swelling drops, the garment that fit at week two will be loose. We re-fit you to a smaller size or a shaping garment to keep even compression and hold your result.

How It Works

We Fit You, Not Just Sell You

A garment off a shelf is a guess. At your fitting we measure you, account for your procedure and how far along you are, place the foams and boards where compression needs to land, and send you home knowing how to wear and wash it. As swelling changes, we re-fit you — most clients move through more than one size. Bring your faja to every drainage session, and re-apply it within thirty minutes of leaving the table.

Common Questions

Fajas, Answered

The right size compresses evenly without rolling or digging in. We measure and fit you in-studio, and re-fit you as swelling goes down — the size you start in usually isn't the size you finish in.
A stage-one garment is worn right after surgery, with gentle, even compression while your incisions heal. Once your surgeon clears you — often around two weeks — a stage-two faja applies firmer compression with less room for swelling. We move you between stages on your surgeon's timeline.
We don't recommend it. Everyday shapewear is usually too narrow and sits in the wrong place, which can dent or fold the skin while it's still settling. A post-surgical faja is cut to compress the whole area evenly.
Most recovery plans call for wearing your faja nearly around the clock — taking it off only to shower, wash it, and have your massage — for as long as your surgeon directs.
Often, yes. Foams and a lumbar board help compression land evenly across curves and the lower back, so you don't get ridges. We show you where they go at your fitting.
Yes — we carry a men's post-surgical compression and posture vest, and we fit it the same way.
Both. We fit you in the correct garment in-studio and you take it home the same day — pickup only, no shipping. Pricing varies by garment and size and is confirmed at your fitting.
