Fibrosis
Massage
Targeted, hands-on work that softens the firm bands, lumps, and hardening that can follow liposuction, BBL, and tummy tuck. Where drainage moves fluid, fibrosis work remodels tissue — sustained, specific pressure applied exactly where recovery has stiffened, always within your surgeon's protocol.
How Targeted Massage
Softens Fibrosis
Fibrosis is collagen laid down where swelling was allowed to sit. It isn't dangerous — but left alone it hardens, pulls, and shows through the skin as uneven contour. It responds to one thing: consistent, specific, hands-on work.
- 01Breaks Down Hardened BandsSustained, directional pressure worked along each fibrotic band encourages compacted collagen to remodel and release — session over session, measurably softer.
- 02Restores Drainage Through Compacted TissueHardened areas trap the very fluid that created them. Opening the tissue lets the lymphatic system finish clearing what the swelling left behind.
- 03Smooths Contour IrregularitiesThe dips, shelves, and lumpy patches that appear after lipo are usually fibrotic, not fat. As the bands release, the surface evens out.
- 04Interrupts The Formation WindowFibrosis forms progressively between weeks 2 and 12. Consistent work inside that window keeps soft tissue soft — the easiest fibrosis to treat is the kind that never fully sets.
- 05Coordinated With Your SurgeonOp-note review is part of intake, and we work within your surgeon's protocol — their plan always comes first.
How Fibrosis Forms After Surgery
Every body is different — these windows are typical, not universal.

Fibrosis Or Scar Tissue?
Educational content from Juanita's Instagram. Lymphatic massage supports the recovery experience and is not a substitute for the medical care your surgical team provides.
Wondering if you have fibrosis after lipo? If you're able to lift your skin, that means it's not fibrosis — it's scar tissue. Juanita's quick visual test.

Fibrosis is where Juanita's fifteen-plus years working alongside Los Angeles surgeons show most. She assesses hardening by hand at every intake — op-note review included — and teaches her clients the same self-checks she demonstrates in her Instagram education, so you always know what stage your tissue is in and why each session is doing what it's doing. Her studio has supported post-surgical recoveries from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and the LA Westside since 2018, and sessions are available in English and Spanish.
