Red Light
Therapy

A warm, restful glow you simply lie back and enjoy while we work — soft red and near-infrared light, added to your session in our quiet Beverly Hills studio. No heat, no effort, nothing to do but rest. It's become one of the most-asked-about little additions on Wilshire, and the easiest way to give your recovery a touch more care.

Red light is offered as an add-on to your drainage or massage — just mention it when you book, and we'll fold it in. There's no separate solo booking for it right now; if you're past recovery and want it on its own, simply ask us.

What It Is

The Quietest Add-On
In The Studio

You stay right where you are — on the table, wrapped up, eyes shielded — while the panel does its quiet work. There's nothing to learn and nothing to feel but warmth. Most clients add it to their drainage and barely notice the extra minutes pass.

The Session

How It
Stacks On

As An Add-On

  • Mention it when you book — we add a short light phase to your drainage or massage
  • You rest under the warm panel while we transition between phases
  • Eye shields provided; the light stays warm-feeling but never hot
  • Your room time extends only by the few minutes of the light phase
  • Just $40, added to your session — no separate booking step

Past Recovery? Just Ask

  • For now, the way to try it is to add it to a session you're already booking
  • Down the line, some maintenance clients like to keep red light on its own
  • That isn't on the online booking page yet — ask us and we'll arrange it
  • Comfortable and low-pressure — no oil, no draping changes
  • Open to anyone, post-op or not, once cleared if relevant
Recovery Timeline

Where Light
Joins The Plan

Red light is not the first move after surgery — drainage is. We bring light in once your incisions are progressing and your surgeon is comfortable. Read the full recovery guide.

i.
Days 2 – 14
Drainage leads. Red light is typically deferred unless your surgeon specifies otherwise — protecting healing incisions comes first.
Drainage Only
ii.
Weeks 3 – 6
Many clients begin adding a short red light phase to each drainage session, once incisions are closed and the surgeon has cleared it.
Stack-On
iii.
Weeks 7 – 12
Light keeps pairing with drainage. Some clients also start asking about red light on its own between visits.
Stack-On
iv.
Weeks 13+
A gentle maintenance rhythm. Red light can continue on its own for clients who want a low-touch routine — just ask us to set it up.

Common Questions

Red Light, Answered

Right now, red light is offered as an add-on to a lymphatic drainage or wellness massage — just mention it when you book and we'll include it for $40. If you're past recovery and would like it as a standalone session, ask us and we'll find a time that works; it isn't on the online booking page on its own yet.
Red light therapy (sometimes called photobiomodulation) delivers specific wavelengths of red (around 660 nm) and near-infrared (around 810–880 nm) light to the skin. The light is non-thermal and non-ionizing — it does not heat or tan the skin. Researchers have studied these wavelengths for effects on circulation, local inflammation, and skin comfort. We use it as a complementary phase within recovery; we do not present it as a treatment for any specific medical condition.
Only with your surgeon's clearance. We do not apply the panel over fresh incisions, open wounds, or any area your surgeon has restricted. In most cases, we wait until incisions are closed and your surgeon has signed off — frequently somewhere between week three and week six post-op. Your timing is set by your surgical team, not by us.
During a drainage appointment, the light phase typically runs while you rest between zones we are working. It does not subtract time from the drainage — it extends the appointment by the chosen panel duration. You stay on the table, comfortable, with eye shields in place.
Most clients describe the panel itself as warm, calming, and quietly pleasant. Sensations beyond that vary person to person. We do not promise specific outcomes; clients add red light because they want to support their recovery experience, not because we have guaranteed a result.
If you are pregnant, taking light-sensitizing medication, have a history of skin cancer in the treatment area, or have any condition you are unsure about, ask your physician first. We will also flag anything that looks like a contraindication during your intake. When in doubt, your physician's opinion always overrides ours.
